January/February Class Schedule



New Workshops
All of our volunteer hosted workshops  run  from 1– 2:30pm  at The Nanaimo Mother and Baby Center. Admission is by suggested donation of $5. Children are welcome. We have a play room available, but no child minding at this time. Come out and meet some friendly faces and learn something new.

Dental Hygiene - January 13th
Learn the basics of healthy oral hygiene for you baby and toddler with dental hygienist Heather Buchanan.

Cloth Diapering - January 27th
Learn the benefits and different styles of cloth diapering with parent educator Laurie Chalmers.

Night Time Parenting- February 3rd
Get up to date information on different sleeping arrangements for your little one with parent educator Laurie Chalmers.

French In the Home - Febuary 10th
Learn fun ways to introduce French to your toddler and the benefits of using a second language in the home with educators Isabelle
Watkins and Liisa Hymander.

Do You Know What A Doula Is? - February 17th
Learn the benefits and how to access birth and postpartum doula’s for pregnant, new mothers and their families.

Cooking Bites - February 24th
Healthy, fast and cost effective meal planning for the whole family with chef Ericka Hendrix.
