Educating, Enriching & Empowering Families

(Incorporated April, 2005)

Purpose:

1) To support, promote and enhance a woman’s natural ability to mother,

2) to compliment other programs in the community,

3) to offer a wide variety of programs, services and products in a nurturing environment and

4) to educate mothers about resources available in their community.

Twenty per cent of The Natural Mother Store profits go towards subsidized classes and funding programs through the

Nanaimo Mother & Baby Society. 

Memberships are available for $2/year for unwaged households.  We also have a "Buy a mom a membership" program if you would like to donate in that way.  Donations of any kind may be made by contacting the Executive Director @ l.chalmers@shaw.ca or

The NMBS is always looking for donations of mother & baby related items, as well as food or snacks for our drop-in play and support groups.  Mothers are always in need of baby carriers, baby clothes, etc.
